Great food! Good price!

I have been going to Jacks for years. The food is always consistently very good and always fresh cooked to order. The personnel are always so very nice. The banana splits are the absolutely BEST!! The prices here are very reasonable, we love JACK’s.

So their Facebook page makes it look like they're really great but when you get here the menus very small, there's no prices, every item is separate, like you know fish sandwich is separate from the fries, and the fries a separate from the drink,oh and the staff is very rude and doesn't know the menu ! So by the time the rude little female at the window would have given me my price it wouldn't came to about $12 for a better meal I could have gotten in McDonald's

Please change your closing time to the correct time that! On the internet it’s says you close at 10:00pm! I’m from Md! I rushed to get food and you were closed! WHO DOES THAT!!??? Please correct it! The hots dogs are my favorite!!! Can you imagine salavating for the hots dogs and and you’re closed!!! FALSIFIED INFORMATON!!!UUHGGGG!!!!!

I visited this restaurant last week. Ordered food ,tried to pay with my card and was informed they only take cash.I scrapped up enough cash for my meal. I ordered Burger with rings ,first time eating here and last will not be back. There is also no prices on menu posted.

Nasty food

This is my favorite place to eat when I come home to visit, I have to go here to eat at least once while I'm in town. The burgers are the best and hotdogs with chille you have to have their chille, it's the best you will ever taste. I wish they sold it by a bowl because I would eat it with everything.

Good food, polite service, and located just next to Elba. The only downside is needing cash, which some people complain about, but there are multiple ATMs within a half mile coming from both directions.Also -- the pressure fried chicken is delicious. Slightly salty and super crunchy, which goes perfect with my habit of using hot sauce on my chicken.

What's not to love? The food is great, the service is fast and friendly. Finally tried the chuckwagon, a chicken fried steak on a bun, really really good. The small sundae with chocolate sauce and wet walnuts is just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth.

For years my family & I have driven down from Richmond, Virginia to get some of the best hamburgers & hotdogs. Its always a pleasure to see the staff & some of the same returning customers. Keep up the great job & I'll see you on the trip down. 20 hotdogs/20 hamburgers 🍔 👍

This is one of the best places ever for a burger and a hot dog or even some Ice cream.

It's your basic hole in the wall establishment. Burger patties are too small for the bun, but I tear off extra bun. French fries were a bit soggy. Best dang onion rings I've had in memory, though. Somehow the onion bites through with the coating. Can't remember the last time i bit into a ring and didn't have the whole onion hanging from my mouth while the rest was in my hand. Really, really good. A lot of ice cream flavors were out of stock, but it was a sunday evening on a terribly hot weekend to be fair. We will go again. It's a nice change from fast food, and there is plenty of outdoor seating so that social distancing isn't an issue. We felt like we were eating out, which was nice.

Staff were very friendly and the hotdogs were delicious.

I have been going here for 40 years always been hot frash and good. Never has a order I got been wrong. I can tell they watch every thing very closely going out from orders being right to the packs of ketchup salt and pepper per order to keep the prices low.

This is the best place to get a burger in Gretna for years!!! The experience is the same every time I go there. The hot dogs are good also. The chocolate sundae with nuts are a must too!!! I will continue to go back!!!

Classic burger joint that has somehow survived from a bygone era. It's what shake shack is trying to be, except for $10 you get a meal for two instead of just one burger. Not many places like this left.

I grew up eating at Jack's and when I get home always my first stop.... Still think the best hot dogs in the world.....

Love the cheese burgers my daughter before she was killed the first thing she did when back home was go get her favorite cheese burger.

It would be nice if they had a bathroom close by.Enjoy setting at picnic tables, but sure would like to wash my hands before eating

Very disappointed. In the past they had the best hot dogs, got one today, not so good. Son said his cheeseburger was good though. When placing order, the total came up to almost $7. The girl had charged me for food I didn't order, then she did not have the mathematical ability to figure out my correct change. Will not be going back😠

Good food, good people. Had a little wait time but they give us a number & called it when our order was ready. They have plenty outside seating on the concrete tables & benches. All the patrons were in good moods & plesent to talk to while waiting for our order. I liked my burger, fries & sweet tea. My friend enjoyed his two hotdogs but they were the smallest I've ever seen but he said they tasted good. He also got a coffee & we shared my french fries. I will definitely go back to eat here!
